F.A.Q’s ABOUT TICKETS

General Admission Adult-$25, Children (12 & under) free on Thursday nights with a paid adult,  $5 on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights;  Box Seats $35 each; Sky Box Seating-$100 each seat.  No special pricing for children in Box Seats and Sky Box seating.

Advanced ticket purchases for a large group are only needed if you would like to sit in the Reserved, Box Seats, or Sky Box areas.

General Admission: Bleacher seating is available on the north and west side of the arena, along the track.  A general admission ticket is required to enter the beer garden on the east end of the arena.  Seating is on a first come-first served basis.  Alcohol is available in this location.

 

Box Seats:  These seats are located on the west end of the arena, with chair seating at ground level, immediately next to the arena fence.  There are 23 boxes with 8 chairs per box.  Each seat costs $30, with no special pricing for children.  Alcohol is available in the boxed seat areas.

Sky Box Seating:  Located directly above the rough stock chutes, these seats provide a close-up view of all the action and behind-the-scenes look.  It also provides a bird’s eye view of the arena and track.  Front and back row chairs are available for $100 each, with no special pricing for children.  Alcohol is available in the sky box seating area.

F.A.Q’s ABOUT GROUNDS

There are plenty of things to do including a visit with many of our vendors’ booths, food concessionaires, 4H & open class exhibits, rodeo history museum, and other entertainment.

Yes, there is limited parking available on the grounds in a grass lot.  There is also parking available throughout our beautiful town with trolleys that run consistently throughout the day and night.  Please refer to our “Attending” page for a shuttle map, schedule, and more information.

We do offer camper hook-ups for a rate of $35 a night on the North side of the fairgrounds. Please call (308) 346-5010 for additional questions or to book.

We only have a limited amount of camper hook-ups but they are usually reserved for vendors, contestants, and rodeo personnel during the week of Rodeo.  There are ample camping options available at the nearby Calamus Reservoir as well as other camping facilities.  Please visit our “Attending” page for more detailed information.

NO, the rodeo grounds is a no fly zone for generic drones.  We have one person allowed to fly a drone and that is due to him being our official drone pilot.  For the safety of contestants and livestock we do not allow drones to be flown over the arena during performances.

No, there is no clear bag policy.  You can carry regular purses of any size, but no bag coolers.

F.A.Q’s ABOUT THE RODEO

No, unless there is severe lightning or significant weather that would warrant taking shelter, the rodeo will continue.

The North Grandstands is our only covered stands at this time.

There is handicap parking on the south side of the browse barn through the main entrance.

The only pets allowed in the general admission area or reserved seating area are certified service animals.

No, smoking is not allowed.

Each rodeo performance is approximately 2 1/2 hours but may vary as it is a live event, packed with exciting action.

Each of Nebraska’s Big Rodeo performances features all 7 PRCA sanctioned rodeo events plus women’s breakaway roping plus specialty acts,  the famed Wild Horse Race, the Dinner Bell Derby, and much more!

No, we do not allow any coolers into the rodeo.  No hard sided coolers and no bag coolers of any kind.
