Parking for Nebraska’s Big Rodeo is available in the North-East corner of the fairgrounds.  Each year, volunteers are available to help patrons with parking.  For parking in this area, we recommend that you enter from the North entrance.  You will be guided to a parking spot by one of the volunteers. The volunteers & their mission for our Summer Events are listed below:

  – Freedom Fest — July 3rd

      – Parking Hosted By: Burwell Boosters
      – Cost: Free Will Donation
      – About the Organization: The Burwell Boosters assist in funding local sports groups by providing essential equipment and youth camp opportunities, ensuring that vibrant athletic experiences remain accessible to the youth in our community.

  – Nebraska’s Big Rodeo — July 22nd – 25th
There is a $5 charge per car on all rodeo nights. 100% of these proceeds directly benefit the hosting organization scheduled for that evening.

      – Wednesday, July 22 & Friday, July 24
          – Parking Hosted By: Burwell Chamber of Commerce
          – Our Mission: The Chamber proudly assists during Nebraska’s Big Rodeo by helping provide and operate the community trolley system, managing event parking, and contributing to various rodeo projects. Beyond the rodeo grounds, the Chamber works year-round to support our local business community and provide engaging events for the entire community.

      – Thursday, July 23
          – Parking Hosted By: Burwell Summer Ball Program
          – About the Organization: This program provides youth from Burwell and the surrounding areas an opportunity to learn baseball and softball with a focus on skill development, mentorship, and character building.

      – Saturday, July 25
          – Parking Hosted By: Burwell Boys Basketball
          – About the Organization: Burwell Boys Basketball serves to provide valuable athletic and team-building experiences for BPS students across all grade levels.

Handicapped parking is available but is limited.

Another option, as the parking area fills up very quickly, is to park at a business downtown and ride the shuttle to the fairgrounds.  Shuttles are a free of cost option that will pick you up at specific locations in town, and drop you off at the front gates just steps away from the rodeo action.
